The layout it good , only one thing for I would put plastic square trim around the door

Thank you

Bought some PVC trim earlier (see pics below). With hindsight, I should have carried out my research properly. I believe there is a proper tile trim (aluminium) available which can be curved around arches. PVC will have to do for now

Since you guys have been so helpful, can I pick your brains with a few finishing queries which are specific to bevelled tiles?

1) How do I finish off this socket? Cream coloured silicone? (as grout may crack after time to movement in the socket when changing plugs)

2) How would I get a clean silicone line where the tile meets the unit? I'm guessing fugi-tool wouldn't cater for the bevel.

3) What does 'scribing a corner' mean? One tile flush against wall, second tile mitred at 45degree and then profile cut off and butted in? As you can see from the pic, i've messed up one corner but would like to avoid this error on the remaining corner

4) On the 'boxing in', I've decided to use a tile trim as I am nowhere near competent enough to mitre. How would I deal with the bevel (diamond) against the trim? Grout and forget about it?

1....colour match silicone round the socket.
2...i just use my finger...... But a tool will be fine.
3...scribing metros means to cut the metro shape out of one side of the cut tiles. I would just cut them as normal and colour match a silicone joint in the corner with the same colour as the grout.
4.... Just grout it and forget about it...

Cheers

The Fugi tool would work down the side of the socket. I would just mask up the side of the socket as close to the edge as you can get, run the bead of silicone into the joint and then using the 90 degree square edge run that down the tile and remove tape.

Thanks - What about where the tile meets the units though? and the internal corners? As others have said, I think using the same colour grout and silicone (mapei grey), with a few attempts i think can get it blend in somehow.
