Edit May 2024: THIS is a New Show Us Your Work Thread for 2024 Onwards

This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love. :)

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them..:smilewinkgrin:.

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

Thanks Dave ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Phew,.. if anyone is wondering.. this is the mosaic I'm working on at the moment, just finished another little section, each one different from the other, it will be 900x1125mm, the little mountain bit ( on original middle left) is just around a 30th of the whole thing. The large fuchsia flowers and leaves will be cut almost whole from stained glass sheets, have done most of that, as well as all the water and the hills in the lower half of the picture. Keeping the peices in place during transfer with a layer of sticky film, but it is one of the trickiest pieces I have ever done, not least because it will live outside, and the bracket screws coming through from the other side must not show either at the end. For this one cement adhesive and epoxy grout will be the answer, I think so far anyhow. A fiddly job this one, and commissioned by the artist of the original picture, this is not my design, so can't change it, but instead 'interpret' what her style is in general into mosaics. Anyhow here is just a tiny section, more pics will follow at a later stage... the view is from my little 8'x8' garden studio, as I finish each section it gets transferred into the larger workshop.

Hey guys, was going to stick up a thread following the progress of my bathroom DESTRUCTION and rebuild!

all the parts are arriving now and I have done some demolition so can start putting some pics up.

Really like this forum, friendy and full of people willing to advise/help. Thats GREAT in my book. So many other forums are very trade related! if you know what I mean..

i'll stop sucking up now!

Just looked at the Mocha Travertine - Smarts job u did. Very tasty - Not sure about some of the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom and ensuite - however thats not your part I guess. As you say lots of bull-nose work.

I do not understand the referrence to ' Dural are there next week ' - Hope they don't mess it up.

As a user of Dural since your help with sourcing a supplier - I'm still very grateful for ur help. Please explain what they 'Dural ' will be doing to your floor, appart from admiring it !
