Discuss Hi everyoneI am in need of some "Matrix Nacar" bathroom wall tiles. Size 31.6 x 44.6cmMade by Porcelanosa but apparently discontinued. in the Discontinued Tile Finding | List Spare Tiles area at TilersForums. The USA and UK Tiling Forum (Also now Aus, Canada, ROI, and more)
Really? Oh hell! Im stuffed then. I live in a Taylor Wimpey house and thats what is in the middle bathroom. Its a big bathroom so dont want to change all the tiles just accommodate a shower. I only need about 12! Failing that...what do you think about silicon paint? Would that work do you think? Not many people stock porcelanosa tiles they're usually all ordered in as they can be the higher end of the price scale.
So I think this might be a whole retile job.
I assume that's a possibility if you can't get the tiles?
I did... they said that range are discontinued! I read up on silicon paint. Someone told me about it! Supposed to be good because the water will just run down the wall as apposed to soak into it...which causes mould etc. Someone said to buy some smooth exterior masonry paint and add silicon to it! That kind of makes sense I think. If I cant get the tiles...the paint alternative will be the point of call I think. Thankyou Dan for your help! Oh and happy christmasNever heard of silicone paint!
Post a picture or two of the bathroom. The lads and ladies on here are quite creative.
Mosaic tiles can section off a new area sometimes and have a nice contrasting colour to the porcelanosas that are there maybe.
You rang porcelanosa to see what they say about the range?
Yes, thats a good idea! Thankyou! Why not make a feature of shower using a different but matching tile
I full of them , and best of all there's no chargeYes, thats a good idea! Thankyou!
