The management buyout of Johnson Tiles has now been completed. The Stoke on Trent based ceramics factory will shut with the loss of 100 jobs.
The deal takes the 123-year-old brand into private hands with all production outsourced. Here at Tilers Forums we feel for the 100+ staff as once again another once great British ceramics brand that was at the heart of the potteries are now without work.
